Professional Experience

Bora Akgüngör, started his auditor career in 2001. He worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as director in assurance practice. Bora joined the Audit and Advisory Department of Aren as partner in 2013.

Expertise

He spent three years (2010 – 2013) in Russian Federation related to the audit of big companies. His major goal in Russia was to create a strong link with Turkish companies operating in Russian Federation and make sure they receive comprehensive support with respect to their business in Russian Federation.

He has been providing services to big holding companies, production, trading and service industry companies and to the companies which are subject to Capital Markets Board and Banking Regulation Supervision Agency regulations.

He has extensive experience in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Turkish Commercial Code, Corporate Governance and Foreign Investment Law.

Qualification

He is a Qualified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor (SMMM). Also he has Independent Audit License in Capital Markets and Public Oversight Body.

He is a member of Independent Auditors Association.

Education

He graduated from the Economics and Business Administration Departments of Middle East Technical University.

He speaks English.
