Professional Experience

Mehmet Ali Demirkaya, started his auditor career in 1999. He worked at Deloitte and PricewaterhouseCoopers as senior manager and director. Mehmet joined the Audit and Advisory Department of Aren as partner in 2013. 

Expertise

He has been providing services to production, trading and service industry companies and to the companies which are subject to Capital Markets Board, Energy Market and Banking Regulation Supervision Agency regulations.

He has extensive experience in IFRS, US GAAP, UK GAAP, Turkish Commercial Code, Corporate Governance and Foreign Investment Law.

Qualification

He is a Qualified Independent Accountant and Financial Advisor (SMMM). Also he has Undersecretariat of Treasury Insurance Auditing Certificate, Independent Audit License in Capital Markets and Public Oversight Body.

He is a member of Expert Accountants Association of Turkey, TUSIAD Working Group (Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association) and Independent Auditors Association. 

Education

He graduated from the Econometrics Department of Istanbul University and has a masters degree from the Auditing Department of Marmara University and PhD degree from the Accounting & Finance Department at the same university.

He speaks English.
